Hi this is my first post, I am retirement age and don't type or spell well, but I bought a Knight 45 cal original disc that takes the orange discs,and want to convert it to shoot bare primer and Blackhorn 209 powder. I have tried to call ED at Knight many times and get no one to talk to. They sell some conversion kits on their sight.

I found several between E-bay, Gunbroker, Midwayusa, Cabelas, etc. Then waited for the right sale, and ordered when they were back in stock. Finally paid about $65 IIRC.

When Knight came out with a 209 conversion, I got it and started using Pyrodex pellets. I use Winchester W209 primers.The red 209 disks are completely re-useable. They seal great, are easy to pre-load and they are not that hard to cap on/off quickly. Especially if wearing gloves in colder climates. I like the consistancy a 209 primer gives.
