Is eleonora poleblade good.
Eleonora's is a blender now. The Ash of War is decent, but I'm not impressed about anything else with the weapon, even with very high DEX/ARC investment. Yes the scaling is very low and passive bleed also sucks. Rivers of blood is ok but not an arcane weapon because it scales with dex.
The good news is, if you end up not liking the Poleblade, there are alternatives. Eleonora's pole blade scales a bit better with arcane but still not enough to be worth 50 point stat dump. Only put points into arcane if you want to use incantations and use dragon seal to scale the incantations off arcane + get some extra bleed procs. or if you plan on using other weapons and converting their status to blood or occult.
