Generally speaking, they don't misrepresent what is being sold, as they want your business for accessories or upgrades. I found one in the CN classifieds for $225 a few months ago. Those have top-shelf glass and longer focal lengths than those short-tube 80s you mentioned, and the views are stunning. Jupiter and Saturn will still be small through an eyepiece but you can visually resolve cloud bands around Jupiter.Avail yourself of the mighty Cloudy Nights Classifieds.
