The main issue with the Rivian design is that because of the tailgate taillight bar, the pad design cannot block it, so the pad doesn't cover enough of the tailgate to be usable for most adult-sized bikes. ·

Anyone else worried about the thickness of the padding. Looks pretty thin but it’s hard to tell from the photos. I have a raceface pad that works really well, is reallly well padded, and holds 5 bikes.
