Kawasaki kfx 50 problems.
KFX 90 starter issues. When you push the button to start it, sometimes to turn over & other times it will sound like the starter just spins. I have taken the starter out & tested it & it does spin when hooked up to a battery. I also pulled out the starter gear that the starter spins. Both gears look ok, a little worn but ok.
The center position on the fuel valve should be off. I presume it is leaking fuel from the carburetor. These have a removable float valve at the top of the carburetor, see the parts diagrams on Kawasaki.com. That valve is likely dirty or worn. A replacement valve is around $15 at a dealer.
