Jul 2, 2018 · The battery died and locked the driver side sliding door open. The road side mechanic was able to push open the clasp with a metal bar from the spare tire kit. At the bottom of the sliding door is a metal arm which holds the door from closing on you, a small clasp when pushed was able to release the door enough that we could close it manually. I'm assuming that your side rollers are in good shape. IF that is the case, open the door manually, and detach the cables from the rollers.It even gives me the 3 beeps when I push the close button, when the door is already closed. The driver side does not mimic this behavior.
