With the exception of the G5, I’ve tested these units out in vehicle with a PCTEL 7/800 NMO antenna on my roof.When monitoring a site with 2 groups of frequencies is it necessary to have 2 dongles (one for each trunk group) when the entire range is more than the 2.4 bandwidth. Or, can one dongle be used for one frequency group to adequately receive calls on this site. I'm referring to the CLMRN Troop E simulcast.

Unfortunately my ability to continue monitoring CLMRN is not looking good. After a month of setting up shop in Barkhamsted, I went back to my regular listening location, which is 4 miles from the nearest tower, only to find that the signal strength has diminished to the point where I can't even detect a P25 data stream.
