The new Spectrum router is a dual router but self adjusts between 2.4 gHz and 5 gHz. 5gHz is faster but has a short range. 2.4 gHz is slower but has a longer range. So all I needed to do was first connect my ECHO Dot; apparently it wasn’t affected by the 5 gHz and was able to connect without issue to the router.
