The circle dot reticle is my favorite for a red dot. I prefer this one over the Romeo 5XDR because of the CR2032 side load battery. The 5XDR takes a AAA battery below the sight so you cannot low mount it. Also, I have had AAA and AA battery leak and ruin the electronic device it was in, so I'm concerned of that happening with the 5XDR.

Also the qd mount wasn't the best. if you have astigmatism the circle dots can be a little clearer than just a dot. I do feel that the Holosun 503 ACSS is superior though. It's lighter and comes with lower 1/3 and low mounts. The Reticle is also better and works very well with a magnifier.

In the market for an optic and like the reviews and look of the Romeo 5 but was curious what others thought of it. I have the xdr. It's a cool reticle but not 100 to 120$ cooler in my opinion. They're both great optics but the 65 moa circle just doesn't have the same effect as a real eotech holographic reticle.
