My fix was to power the DCM circuit from a circuit that was active when the ignition was ON. Probe around in the underhood fuse box and find one that's ON only when the key is ON. Using a couple add-a-circuit {Amazon Add-A-Circuit} the DCM is only powered when the key is ON. With this said there are other things that can cause battery drain.
