Is there anyone in the OC area that can handle this? Can you buy a new radio with this capability strait out of the box? Yes they are oily so you should fillet them (you can leave the skin on) a little salt and pepper and roll them in yellow corn meal, fry in Crisco to golden brown and drain on a paper towel. Most guys used 30 lb mono in spring / summer - then put on 30lb Monel for late fall / winter. It's a good reel for spring - I'd stick with lighter lures - up to say 10 ozs.
