Check SigOhio's thead "Check your 556 for wear/damage to the carrier." It lists specific serial numbers.My lowest serial number is on My P239 Nitron DAK 56A 0088XX. Next is My P239 Scorpion 56A 0110XX. My two P220s surprised Me P220 10MM Lipsey 37B 0494XX. but My P220 Equinox 37B449XX. From this I'm guessing that More Lipsey's were made than Equinoxes. Not many P938 Equinoxes either 52A 0159XX.

The "legacy slide" on the P229 has a short extractor while more recent slides have the long extractor and full height cocking serrations. Both these slides fit on German made frames.The good thing is there are signs you can look for to spot a genuine Coach bag serial number versus a fake even through images. A key thing to know is that the creed or tag is always stamped, never printed.
