Using mods I started in March Ridge because why not. I've been to March Ridge tons of times, some people think there's too many zombies and nothing of value but that is quite incorrect. The military apartments are super easy to secure by blocking off the two stairwells on the first floor giving you 3 secure floors.
There's an Annotated Map that turns the entire apartment complex into one giant survivor home. Even without the loot from that change, the apartments are stuffed to the gills with loot.
