This is not as slow as a true limp mode when say a boost related P0234 CEL comes up or when car is under 8.6% fuel and the cars overall power output is cut much more severely. Even worse would be a dead pedal scenario where car will not get much over idle with just enough power to make it roll forward.

I can't tell difference with engine power though. N mode shifts faster/harder at high revs, at least that's what my butt feels. I've also noticed that there is a big difference in how far you have to push the accelerator when in Manual mode. In auto, I can hear the turbo spool with barely any pressure on the pedal.
