Line up the back cover with the rear of the fob. Re-insert the tab at the top edge of the back cover into the slot at the top of the fob near the metal ignition key. Then lower the bottom of the cover towards the loop for the key ring. Gently pop the cover on to the fob assembly to secure the retaining clips.To do it, get in the car, close the door, put the new key in the ignition and turn it to on (without starting the car). Let it sit for 10 minutes until the security light turns off. Turn the ignition to off and wait 5 seconds. Repeat this procedure two more times (total of 3 cycles).
