My job offers dental insurance, and I think it's a fairly standard offering, but is horrible. Two expensive plan options that only cover up to $1K or $2.5K respectively per individual. Any sort of serious dental issue will far exceed those limits, and any minor issues are cheaper to resolve than the cost of the insurance.
