Main goal was to make a champion of Arazni, because rapier can use some help to make it a nice champion weapon. Thaumaturge provided that help.

You don't need to do anything special to make it succeed in melee. But with fairly few defensive options outside of Amulet, their hp will deplete a bit faster than a Fighter or Ranger.
