Some get good sets, others get leaky... crappy sets. 2. Ken does NOT, and has never built the Turbo-Cal pumps...or any pumps for that matter.

The previous owner gave me a half empty bottle of Peak "fleet charge" that is pre-charged with SCA from when he changed the coolant 3 yrs …You need to clean the filter head rub it dry. I take the seal off the filter an rub completly with fresh oil an stick oring back on filter inside of the grooves an screw it on. That's the best way I use to only rub the top an screw on but found out this way is a thousand times better. I use the Motorcraft FL-1995 powerstroke filter as well.

AFAIK the 7.3's all use the same filter head, with the same fuel heater in it. The 6.9's had a fuel heater on the line between the lift pump and filter head.

Later model IDIs have plugs pressed into the heads here, so it won't leak even without the valley pan gasket.
