You cannot buff split dmg weapons, if you got some ash of war that gives split dmg you cannot use a buff, so if the ash gives more bleed you cannot apply bleed on top of that. I have 60 Int so I run spells/incantations for range support. Moonveil can do it but so far it seems the nagakiba seems to proc it more consistently. Still a lot of baddies to test.
