Missoula is prone to inversions during the winter - low clouds trapping in the cold. You can drive 10 miles south, into the Bitterroot, and be in sun and 10-15 degrees warmer temperatures. The combination of inversions and the low winter sun makes for a dark time, for some. A lot of folks stand on the rail by the bar on the left side of the venue if you like to stand. Don’t pay to park, lots of parking on the street/highway but obviously at your own risk. Try to park facing south, easier to get out. There are water filling stations by the bars so empty bottles are fine.Talk to the Missoula Tenants Union (search on Instagram)! They can probably hook you up. If you’re a student at the U, probably a long shot, they offer free legal services. We used them when we had issues with Crestview apartments.
