I'm pretty sure pulling fuse #7 will stop the battery drain. That is the fuse for both doors that is hot all the time, and is the one that people find the parasitic drain on when there is a door latch problem. That said, that door is VERY unsafe without the rear latch in the latched position.If you use a coat hanger, cut a piece 8 inches long (the heavy gauge) and bend it in "L" shape (like 35 degrees) at 2,5 inches long; insert it in the jam and pull down; that could be enough to desengage it. good luck... The sliding doors also need force to close and lock itself. They can't really make it close too soft; otherwise, it wouldn't close and lock properly. I want to suggest to Honda to have recognition sensor on the door; so, it will know there is a finger there. If there is a finger or flesh infront of the door, it will stop or retrack back.

Yes, in fact the # 13 fuse (7.5amp) does have something to do with resetting the electronics and it does work to reset the doors. However, the power door master switch (above the left and right switches) needs to be turned off for it to reset when the #13 fuse is pulled. I also cleaned the contacts on the sliding doors too.
