Chevy malibu stalls when stopping.

Apr 19, 2020 · I have the 2.5l ls and my car stalls at stop light. This is what I have done so far. I have checked my map sensor, maf sensor, cleaned my throttle body, vacuum is good. Air filter is good. Battery is good, all grounds cleaned, all positive wires cleaned. All other wires seem to be testing good. Short term fuel trims run between 5 and 10 percent. 1. Check engine vacuum at idle and compare to a good idling engine with an accurate gauge. If vacuum is low, suspect the camshaft timing is off. 2. Erase the DTC, then use the scanner to command the Exhaust Camshaft Position (CMP) actuator to varying positions. 3.DrivenDaily.
