I have encountered random deaths of my character several times now. This last one I was sitting in my shelter just a few feet from my fire. Suddenly my character just dies.

I get to location where death happen and go to find my inventory bag and it's not there. Death marker is there but no bag... Hasn't happened on every death but most recent one I lost a lot of good tools and weapons. Frustrating, but I know we're still in early access and there's going to be a lot of patches to come. I want to build a couple death walls of turrets to block would be raiders. What is the best design for this? I have solid walls up right now. Are hatchframes the way to go or should I use catwalks to mount the turrets? Hatchframes triangle celings and such for optimal coverage. Fill the ground with purlovias and bear traps.
