Another thing to check is the FICM harness at the side of the alternator, it is tied down with a zip tie. The sharp corner of the FICM bracket cuts into the wires and causes a short. You should fill out your Signature with the year and any mods on the truck. Click the User CP at the top left side and then the signature.
