I was wondering does NYU accept midyear reports. My school sends them to all the colleges that I applied to, and I wanted to know if this is okay. If admitted, you will need to send a final transcript so don’t fail all your classes or anything.

<p>My school doesn't send first quarter grades as a part of transcripts since they aren't "record grades" (because only semester and final grades count as those). But my guidance counselor told me to send them because they were pretty good, so I sent them to my Brown Rep. Brown, though, doesn't need them. Typically, your high school will send the mid-year report directly to the colleges you've applied to, including Northeastern. Make sure to check in with your high school counselor to confirm that they've sent it out on your behalf. These reports are usually sent after the first semester or second quarter grades are available.

As an early decision applicant, first quarter grades and the Midyear Report are not required and will not appear on your application checklist. Once your first quarter and/or midyear grades are available, you are welcome to ask your school counselor to submit them to Cornell. Although not required, they may be helpful to the selection committee.
