I know there has been a bit of stress about the new COMSAE format and scoring, so I'm adding to the informal "data". My school typically requires a COMSAE score of 450 before they will approve you taking the COMLEX. However, we just received an email that they are allowing a score of 393 OR a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The writing style for the real thing just felt more poorly written and didn't have as much of a standard format as uworld Q's do. They are reflecting new level 2 ce length of 352 questions and timing: so comsae is half of that with 4 hours - that's exactly what you will get pace wise on level 2 ce. Only 9 out of ~130 students passed ours the first time. Our school refused to change the threshold even though NBOME said it's not accurate.
