TradeStation Review Summary. TradeStation has made many improvements in the past year, bringing services closer in line with industry standards. In some areas, it has already surpassed its competitors—mainly in crypto and global trading. In other areas, it still lags behind with outdated fees and lack of resources. After a hiatus and coming from Tradestation I can honestly say I think I'm enjoying Optimus better as a whole. The matrix and charts are very responsive, everything is customizable, and customer service is responsive. Tradingview integration for when I'm not at my desktop is a plus as well. The main desktop app seems robust but it has a decent learning curve.
