I used the mod manager to install the script extender. I swapped from launching the game in Vulkan to DirectX 11 instead. I loaded my game a few saves prior to patch 4. LL's BG3 mod manager is the best one. All mods work and it's the easiest installation. Just download the newest updates to the mods. put it in the Documents/LarianStudios/Baldur's Gate 3 folder, Open the Mod Manager, and export.
