From what we know, it is a Ithaca 9994 Hammerless (12ga) with a Damascus barrel that is not "rated" for modern loads. It has never been fired as well! I have found a serial number on three different parts of this gun (main body, barrel, wooden portion under the barrel) it is 39938. I believe it to be a 12 gauge but cannot find this on the gun.
