Is hyper flash turn signals illegal.
With my turn signals activated, they flash at a normal rate on the outside, however the signal lights on the dash hyperflash. But with my hazard lights on, both interior indicators as well as the exterior lights flash normally. So I bought the Diode Dynamics resistors to see if that would correct the issue.

My solution is as follows: I purchased SIRIUS LED 7440 Bulbs for all four corners as signal bulbs from Amazon. Although these have built in resistors, they did not fix the hyper-flash issue with the signals.

I used standard LED's on all my turn signals. I changed out the rear turn signals with some canbus correct they have a chip built into the base, they stopped the hyper flash on the rest of the turn signals. the cost on Amazon was about $7 and change, much cheaper than any of the good resisters and no over heating. I then installed the rear turn signals. After I installed those rear LED's both the turn signals AND the hazards were hyperblinking. Now that I installed the new relay today, the hazards are back to normal and the turn signals will blink normally for the first 2 blinks and then hyperblink.
May 19, 2010 · I can't find mine either on my 09. I think our late models have the turn signals controlled by the smart control module. If that is the case, then there is no flasher. I traced the clicking noise to a little speaker in the instrument panel.

This rapid flashing IS an indication of a failed bulb. the lights in the instrument cluster flashes just as fast as the outside lights.
