I am having the same problem, the power light on my fiber box starts red and actually turns green but then cycles back to red/green again (with other lights coming on/off in various colors). The AT&T phone support said that the box is likely damaged. A tech is scheduled to come in one day.Hmm, internet just dropped mid day for us.
