Dark Souls RPGNinja123 12 years ago #1 It seems like I never do well in triple and double teams with the estoc because of the low damage and you need to rely on parries and backstabs obviously so when you finally get a kill it seems that much more satisfying because you are basically whittling away on the guy's lifebar.Estoc doesn't scale that great, so Lightning is always nice. Chaos (at max) will probably outclass that, but fire damage seems less useful in PVP to me. If you are going STRAIGHT Strength/Dex hybrid then Regular ol' +15 will eventually be comparable, but not for a LONG time. BurningLance 7 years ago #10. well if you go Quality then Refined is the best. since you plan to go Str for a while then Heavy is good. im doing a Dex/Luck and atm with 29 in both and Hollow infusion gives more dmg than the Sharp infusion (even if Sharp bumps dex scaling to B) which is very good for Estocs.I think rapier has higher dex scaling if I remember right, making it better for dex obviously. Estoc is a bit better of an option for 40/40's and str builds.
